In recent years, driving safety experts have increased their focus on a number of dangerous motorist behaviors that increase the risk of serious automotive accidents, including distracted driving and drowsy driving. Now, the New Jersey legislature has turned its attention to aggressive driving, often referred to as “road rage.” In May, a bill was signed into law that incorporated education about aggressive driving into the New Jersey driver's license test curriculum, requiring that questions about aggressive driving behavior be added to the license exam and mandating that high school driver's education programs teach prospective new drivers about the dangers of road rage.
